In the 16th century, the economy of the region expanded greatly, thanks to the trade in linen. The merchant-farmers had these rich parish enclosures erected as a mark of their religious fervor.
Opening through a triumphal gate, the parish enclosure consists of an imposing church, an ossuary and a calvary. The granite sculptures and the Renaissance altarpieces are the jewels of the Breton religious heritage.
